This listing is a DEPOSIT which secures you a Custom Made Teapot Ghost
By purchasing this listing you pay a deposit on one of seven slots I have currently open
Please read the following agreement carefully before purchasing:
By purchasing this listing you pay a 20% non refundable deposit on the grand total of 950 euro and agree to fulfil the remaining 80% and shipment costs upon completion of your piece.
I will then create a Teapot Ghost just for you within a time period of maximum 6 months from the date of purchase. During the creation process I am afraid I will not be able to take any specific requests.
My Teapot Ghosts are all handmade by me and they seem to magically float above their teapots. Well, they do in fact! Each piece is unique due to the handmade nature of the dolls and the vintage and antique materials used, they are never quite the same.
They all belong to the same family of course, they are sisters, but each piece is one of a kind and unique.
For the dolls I use vintage and antique textiles such as silk and lace.
Their features are made of clay and resemble porcelain. I make their wigs with natural fibres such as Alpaca or Teeswater fleece.
The teapots come from my own collection and they are usually brass (gold) or silver plated (silver) and have different sizes and designs, but are always beautiful as they are collected for their beauty, elegance and old world feel.
Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
As teapot sizes vary and each doll is a little different from the next, the final size of every piece ends up different.
But as an indication: the average size of a Teapot Ghost including the teapot stands approximately between 35 and 50 cm's tall
Please note that your piece will be unique and only revealed upon completion.
The dolls are handmade with vintage and antique materials and each Ghost has her own personality. The dolls are made for their designated Teapots, they can often not move 'house'

Shipment takes place from the Netherlands, EU with Track & Trace.
I aim to ship within a week after purchase.
You will receive a shipment notification with tracking link via my shop.
Please keep an eye out for any updates about delivery dates,
if items are returned to me, new shipment costs must be charged.
I take great care in packing my artworks as securely as possible,
using bubblewrap and sending in a sturdy mailing box.
