He is a handmade fabric art doll made with textiles and his apple face is hand painted.
He is dressed in his finest clothing;
I made him green corduroy trouser and a lace undershirt with mother of pearl buttons.
His jacket is made with vintage fabrics and gold thread.
The doll can stand when supported or hang from a hook on his back.
He measures approx: 40cm’s (15.8″)

🌿 ABOUT PANTOVOLA
My handmade textile sculptures and art dolls are inspired by a nostalgic world
of mystery, memory, myth and magic, fairytales and folklore.
I love Victorian Ghost Stories, Witches, Nature, Animals and Botanics.
I make all my work from my home studio,
under the watchful eye of my hound Flynn
I like to use mostly vintage and antique fabrics,
with visible wear and tear.
I find that these materials add their own mysterious narrative to my work.
Each doll and sculpture has their own little tale to tell,
often one that is fantastical and sometimes haunted ...
